Privacy Policy
What this policy covers
This describes what Ocala Secure IT does with information collected through this website. It is written to reflect how the site actually works rather than as generic boilerplate.
Information you give us
If you submit the assessment or contact form we receive the name, company, email address, phone number, company size and message you entered.
We use it to reply to your enquiry. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a marketing sequence you did not ask for.
The email security check
When you use the email security tool, the domain you enter is sent to our server, which performs public DNS lookups for that domain and returns the result to your browser.
The domain is not stored, logged to a database, or associated with you. The lookups are made against a public DNS resolver, exactly as any mail server on the internet would. No connection is made to your systems and nothing about your internal environment is accessed.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and, at the time of writing, runs no third-party analytics.
If analytics are added, this page will be updated to say which service and what it collects, before it goes live.
Service providers
The site is hosted by a third-party provider that necessarily processes standard server request data such as IP addresses in order to serve pages and defend against abuse.
Where a form submission is delivered by email or to a customer relationship system, that provider processes the contents of your message in order to deliver it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained while there is a live conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. You may ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact us using the details on the contact page.
