About the visit
What does the $89 first visit include?
A local engineer comes on-site, sits down with you, and reviews the things that most often cause trouble — backups, Microsoft 365 security, patch state, and what your network exposes to the internet. You get a plain-English read on where you stand and what, if anything, is worth doing. It is a flat $89 for that first visit.
What is the $100 per hour for?
Any work beyond that first visit — fixing what we find, setting up MFA, sorting backups, migrating email, standing up new machines — is billed at $100 per hour. You approve the work before it starts, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Do I have to sign a monthly contract?
No. The $89 visit and hourly work stand on their own. If a managed monthly agreement would genuinely save you money we will say so, but nothing here requires it.
What will you actually look at on the first visit?
Backups and whether a restore has ever been tested. Microsoft 365 security including MFA coverage, legacy authentication and mailbox forwarding rules. Patch state across your machines. What your network exposes to the internet. Whether your domain can be spoofed in email. And your licensing, because over-licensing is common.
Do you need access to our systems?
Read-only access is enough for most of it, and a good deal can be looked at from outside with nothing at all. We agree the scope with you first and never make changes without your go-ahead.
What happens after the visit?
You get a clear summary of what we found and what it would take to fix. If you want us to do the work, it is $100/hour and you approve it first. If you do not, the summary is still yours to act on however you like.
